Monday’s Resource – www.readwritethink.org

Jun 13, 2011 by Yolanda Fontanez-Coleman | On-Line Educational Resources

Today’s resource/recommendation is a www.readwritethink.org. This website is a great for resource for teachers, students and parents alike. The site offers a host of a reading resources spanning grades kindergarten through 12.  It is sponsored by the IRA, (International Reading Association), NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English) and Thinkfinity (a literacy and education foundation by Verizon).

Readwritethink.org offers up-to-date research based literacy resources for teachers, after school program administrators, and parents. The site also offers professional development workshops.  One of my favorite things about readwritethink.org is an area where you can search based on your “learning objective” and find tools to help with grammar, reading fluency, and the writing process, among others.

Check it today –  www.readwritethink.org – and tell me what you like best about this site!
