Another school year has come and gone! It is now the beginning of summer which includes longer days with your children and many hours to fill with activities. Are you feeling the stress of having to fill the days with activities? Set summer goals or set a summer bucket list with your kids. This is a great way to teach your children goal setting skills. Talk with your children about setting some realistic goals that they will need to work toward this summer. Here are some great ideas that may prompt the thinking process in your home.

Set ONLY a few goals. Once you master the goals then add some more to your list.
Work on your goal a little each week.
Post your goals somewhere that is visible to you on a daily basis.
Share your goals with your family. This makes you accountable for your goal.
