We all know the power of tutoring between a professional tutor and a student. However, do you know that peer tutoring also has some amazing benefits?  Peer tutoring refers to when students work in pairs to help each other learn material or practice an academic skill. Peer tutoring works best when students of different academic abilities work together. Peer tutoring often occurs in the classroom under the supervision of the classroom teacher. It is best when the teachers switch the roles of the students throughout the session. For example, it is important that one student plays the role of the tutor and the other the student for half the time and then they switch. Here are some benefits of peer tutoring that may amaze you:

1. Higher Academic Achievement

2. Improved Relationships with Peers

3. Improved Personal and Social Development

4. Increased Motivation
