I can’t believe we are in week 3 of our summer learning series. This summer is a hot one so far! Cool off inside with our summer learning activies.
Week 3
Monday: (Writing) Think about your favorite toy. Write about your favorite toy. Why is it your favorite toy? Where did you get it from? Why is this toy so special to you?
Tuesday: (Writing and Art) Come up with 15-20 adjectives that describe you. Make a poster of you and include your adjectives.
Wednesday: (Math) Create a new board game. Include math facts into your game. Play this game with 3 different people. Ask them to give you feedback on your new math game. Was it challenging? Was the game fun to play? Would you recommend my game to a friend?
Thursday: (Writing) Create a recipe book. Fill your book with your favorite recipes. Include pictures of some of the food creations you make this summer. Be sure to do this activity with an adult!
Friday: (Reading and Writing) Write a book review of a book that you have read this summer. How many stars would you give your book? Explain your rating. Was the book interesting? Was it funny? Did you enjoy the story? Would you recommend this book to a friend?
