Practice Proctored SAT and ACT Tests

Apr 4, 2013 by Yolanda Fontanez-Coleman | ACT, SAT Prep, Test Prep

As part of the college entrance process,  your high schooler will have to take either the ACT or SAT test in order to be accepted in colleges or universities. The more practice your child has with the ACT or SAT tests the better they will perform. Practice proctored tests are a great way to give your child an advantage with these tests. Why are practice proctored tests offered and why are they so important?

Practice Proctored Tests Offer Many Advantages:

Reduce Anxiety: These tests offer more than just content and strategy. They simulate “real” conditions so students can improve their test taking skills and reduce anxiety that comes along with taking these tests. These real conditions (same time as the actual tests, same breaks and same rules of the actual tests) allow students to test their ability to apply their knowledge.

Baseline Score: These tests offer a baseline score which gives data to customize and individualize a program that focuses on the students’ strengths and weaknesses.

Progress Monitoring: It is with frequent practice tests that we are able to monitor students’ progress. These tests allow tutors to build and adjust test prep programs to fit the needs of the students. It also gives students the stamina and endurance needed for these tests.

Give your child that academic advantage with a proctored practice SAT or ACT test!
