SAT Test

The next SAT test if just around the corner – Saturday November 5th to be exact!

Here are a few tips and strategies to help you on the big day!

1. Make sure that you know the exact location of the SAT test center. And the amount of time it takes to get there. Arrive 30 minutes early to ensure enough time to check in. Don’t forget your admission ticket and a photo ID!

2. Don’t cram! Get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast. However, don’t eat or drink too much, as you don’t want to end up in the bathroom during test time!

3. Make sure you have the important test-taking tools. Several #2 pencils, a watch to keep track of your time, a calculator with fresh batteries and a high-energy snack should do the trick.

4. Don’t spend too much time on one question. Each question is worth the same number of points, so if a question is confusing or too time-consuming, just move on. You can come back to it later if you have time.

5. Keep track of your time. It’s easy to lose track of time. Check your watch and make sure you are on target.
