SAT Test Day!

Sep 11, 2012 by Yolanda Fontanez-Coleman | SAT Prep

The day of the SAT test has arrived!  Not only do you need to make sure that you have had breakfast (and a coffee if it pertains to you!) but you also need to make sure that you have all of the materials necessary to complete the test.  What may they be?  The obvious pencils, appropriate calculators, and your admission ticket are essential.  However, are you aware of the new mandate?!  College Board has begun requiring photo identification be present when you arrive to check in for the test.  It is also required to remain out on your desk throughout the test to ensure that cheating does not occur.  You are the only person who is able to sit for the SAT test using your name, and this new requirement is their way of enforcing such rule.  For those who have their license, this may not be a pressing issue as this form of identification is usually with you, however for those who do not have their license, this is a requirement that needs attention prior to the day of the test.  Just some food for thought to help you be successful in completing your SAT test without any hold ups!
