We are so excited to share with you a resource we discovered called Splashlearn. For many years, Splashlearn was a paid math and language arts learning game website for grades Prek-5, but now it is completely free for both parents and teachers!
Splashlearn has two apps for tablets and phones; one for the student and another for parents/teachers. Adults can assign specific games for their child to work on outside of tutoring and see their progress on the app. Adults can partner with tutors to choose what topics students would benefit from working on. Splashlearn is also a wonderful choice for our students with learning differences to practice their skills as well. Common Sense Media rates Splashlearn with four stars by parents and teachers. The app and website is becoming known for its colorful and engaging set-up, as well as, its adaptable updates that align with all of the changes education has gone through during these past few years. We love finding fun ways our students can practice skills outside of their tutoring sessions! Give it a try and let us know your thoughts!
