In celebration of National Math Month we compiled a list of some great math sites for kids. You can help your child feel successful and encourage the love of math.

Here are 5 great sites that you can share with your child.

1. www.coolmath4kids.com   This site has some fun or “cool” math games, activities and lessons. Your child can reinforce basic math concepts while having fun, fun, fun.

2. www.funbrain.com  This site has a variety of math games that your child in grades K-8 can use to reinforce math skills.

3. www.mathcats.com   Your child will be challenged with these creative open-ended math explorations!

4.  www.firstinmath.com   This site is an online program that many classrooms use to promote math learning at home. You do need login access through your school. Your child will have such a wonderful time strengthening their math skills daily!

5. www.ixl.com  This site follows state math standards in grades Pre-K through 8th grade. It has a reporting feature that keeps progress monitoring tracking for your child.

These math sites will keep your child engaged and learning at the same time!  We would love to hear your comments on these sites! If you know of any more we would like to hear about them too!  Happy Learning!
